Research Report--China Lithium Battery Cathode Materials Industry According to GGII, the market size of cathode materials in China will exceed 20 billion yuan in 2016, up by over 50 percent year on year. From the current point of view, lithium iron phosphate and ternary material shipments become the fastest growing cathode material, the growth rate is more than 50%, driven mainly by the power battery. From the terminal application point of view, China's new energy commercial vehicles are based on lithium iron phosphate, accounting for more than 95%, while more than 68% of passenger cars using ternary materials.
