Drying the battery cathode electrode after battery coating process, it is necessary to roll the coated battery electrode foil during the process time. The electrode rolling process is to compacting the coated electrode, at present there are hot pressing and cold pressing two processes of battery electrode rolling press. Battery electrode hot press compaction rate is higher than cold press, and the rebound rate is lower. But the cold pressing process is relatively simple and easy to operate and control. TOB New Energy can provide both battery electrode hot press machine and battery electrode cold press machine, and provide customized services according to your requirements.

Select the battery electrode roller equipment to pay attention to the following process values, compaction density, rebound rate, elongation. At the same time, it should be noted that the surface of the battery electrode should be free from brittle pieces, hard pieces, falling materials, wavy edges and other phenomena, and the gap is not allowed to break. the environmental requirements of the workshop, temperature ≤23℃, humidity ≤25%.
Rebound rate: general rebound 2-3umElongation: Positive electrode is generally ≈1.002
After the cathode rolling press is completed, the next step is slitting, the next step is to divide the whole electrode foil into small strips with the same width (corresponding to the height of the battery). The splicing should pay attention to the burr of the pole piece, the burr in X and Y directions of the pole piece should be fully detected, and the longitudinal burr length process Y≤1/2 H diaphragm thickness. The ambient temperature of the workshop is ≤23℃.
