Description: Xiamen TOB New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. designs and builds a lithium-ion pouch cell pilot line which is using stacking process for our customers. Xiamen TOB New Energy will provide a full set of battery pilot line equipment and battery testing equipment. And we will also supply some battery materials such as cathode materials, anlde materials, separator, electrolyte, pouch cell cases, copper foil, aluminum foil, etc.

The customer wants to build a pilot line for lithium-ion pouch cells which is using stacking process technology. The stacking process is a process of cutting the positive and negative plates into the required size, then stacking the positive plate, separator, and negative plate into a small battery cell, and then stacking the small battery cells in parallel to form a battery module. Compared with the winding process, the stacking process has a high capacity density, and the internal space of the lithium battery is fully utilized. Compared with the winding process, the volume specific capacity is higher. Its energy density is high, and its discharge platform and volume specific capacity are higher than those of winding process lithium batteries, so the energy density is correspondingly higher. Its size design is more flexible, and the size of each pole piece can be designed according to the size of the lithium battery, so that the lithium battery can be made into any shape. Since the ultimate goal of customers is to enter the field of power batteries, and large modules and large cells are the future trend, so choosing the lamination process can better take advantage of the advantages of large cells. It has advantages over winding in terms of safety, energy density, and process control.
