Graphite Oxide

Brief Introduction:

Graphite oxide , officially known as graphite oxide or graphite acid, is a compound composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen elements in an indefinite ratio of material mass. Graphite oxide can be prepared by treating graphite with a strong oxidant. Among the products obtained, the product with the highest degree of oxidation is a yellow solid with a carbon to oxygen ratio between 2.1 and 2.9, and still retains the layered structure of graphite, but the structure becomes more complicated.

Performance and application:

  Contains abundant hydroxyl, carboxyl group and epoxy group containing oxygen functional groups. No need addition of surfactant can be in high speed stirring and ultrasonic dispersed in aqueous solution,DMF, NMP and other organic solvents. And the solution has good stability.

Usage:

  Can be used in the field of plastic, resin, carbon fiber and glass fiber composite materials,also can be used in flame retardant field and graphene R$D.
