As an important part of the lithium ion battery, the conductive agent, although it occupies a small amount in the battery, it greatly affects the performance of the lithium ion battery, and has very important effect on improving battery cycle performance, capacity development, rate performance, etc. From the earliest zero-dimensional conductive agent carbon black materials to conductive carbon fibers and carbon nanotubes, which are gradually developed later, conductive agents with one-dimensional structure. Carbon nanotubes, a conductive agent with a one-dimensional structure, increase the contact with the electrode material particles due to its fibrous structure, which greatly improves the conductivity of the electrode and reduces the resistance of the pole piece. CNTs can be divided into single-walled CNTs and multi-walled CNTs. Carbon nanotubes with a one-dimensional structure are similar to fibers in a long columnar shape with a hollow interior. Carbon nanotubes have good electronic conductivity. The fibrous structure can form a continuous conductive network in the active material of the electrode.
